Emotional Spending

Let's face it. We're all business women and we like to make money. But, are we in control of our funds? A recent article was published about women spending more to cope with emotional difficulties.

One study recently conducted in the UK by psychology professor Karen Pine, stated that "79% of women say that going on a spending spree would cheer them up. This indicates that some women use shopping as an emotion regulator to numb themselves to negative feelings or dissatisfaction with life."

We're not trying to say that spending is bad. It may be true, that shopping for yourself can do much to help your mood. However, if the funds to buy are not sufficient, then "money could lead women down the path to more money woes."

Any advice for those who may be looking for support?
